Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Atefferre.eu,we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our refund and returns policy lasts30 daysfrom the date you receive your item.
Due to the nature of certain products (intimate apparel, nutrition), some items have different return eligibility. Please read the category-specific rules below.
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and in original packaging where applicable.

Returns by Product Category

1. Cycling Apparel (Bib shorts, jerseys, base layers, gloves, socks)

• Returnable within 30 daysonly if: unused, unwashed, unworn, with all original tags and hygienic liners attached.

• Non-returnable for hygiene reasons:Bib shorts, base layers, underwear, and socks once the hygienic liner is removed or if washed.

2. Bicycle Parts (Components, derailleurs, brakes, chains, cassettes, bottom brackets)

• Returnable within 30 daysif: unused, uninstalled, and in original unopened packaging.

• Non-returnable:Any part that has been installed, mounted, or shows signs of tool marks, grease, or wear. Electronic components with opened seals.

3. Wheelset (Wheels, rims, spokes, hubs)

• Returnable within 30 daysif: unused, unridden, no tire marks on brake track or rim, no spoke tension adjustments made, and in original box with all protective materials.

• Non-returnable:Wheels that have been mounted with tires, ridden, or show any signs of installation (e.g., cassette or rotor mounted).

4. Bicycle (Complete bikes, frames)

• Returnable within 14 days only(reduced window due to shipping complexity and assembly risk).

• Conditions:Unridden, never assembled, in original factory box with all protective foam and packaging. No pedal scratches, no dust, no tire wear.

• Non-returnable:Any bike that has been assembled (even partially), ridden outdoors, or shows any mounting marks on bottom bracket, headset, or dropouts.

5. Maintenance & Tools (Lubricants, cleaners, wrenches, torque tools, work stands)

• Returnable within 30 daysif: unused and in original sealed packaging.

• Non-returnable:Liquids (lubes, degreasers, sealants) with broken seals. Any tool that shows use, scratches, or wear (e.g., bits with metal dust, wrenches with marks).

6. Nutrition (Gels, bars, drinks, powders, chews)

• Final sale – no returns or refundsdue to food safety, temperature sensitivity, and short shelf life.

• Exception:Only if the product is expired upon delivery or has a damaged factory seal (photographic proof required within 48 hours of delivery).

Non-returnable items (all categories)

• Gift cards

• Final sale items (explicitly marked)

• Custom-ordered or personalized items (e.g., custom wheels, custom frame paint)

• Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

• Items damaged by improper installation, crash, or neglect

Partial refunds (granted at our discretion)

• Any item with removed tags, opened seals, or missing original packaging

• Any item not in its original condition, damaged for reasons not due to our error

• Any item returned with signs of use (saddle marks, tire rubber, grease, dirt, odors)

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed within5-7 business daysand automatically applied to your original payment method.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

1. Check your bank account or credit card statement again.

2. Contact your credit card company or bank – refunds can take time to post (up to 10 business days).

3. If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us atinfo@efferre.eu.

Sale items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items (except defective ones) are final sale, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Exchanges

Apparel size exchanges:We do not offer direct exchanges due to limited Italian production runs. Please return your original item for a refund and place a new order separately.

Defective or damaged items (all categories):We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. To request an exchange for a defective item, email us atinfo@efferre.eu  with photos and your order number. If approved, we will provide a return label and ship a replacement.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, we will send a refund to the gift giver.

Return shipping costs:

• You are responsible for paying your own return shipping costs (unless the return is due to our error or a defective item).

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.

• For returns oncomplete bicycles or wheelsets, additional restocking fees may apply (15% of item price to cover inspection and repackaging).

Recommended shipping:

• For items over€150, we strongly recommend using atrackable shipping serviceor purchasingshipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item without tracking.

European Union 14-day cooling-off period

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within14 days, for any reason, under EU consumer law. However, this rightdoes not applyto:

• Sealed goods (nutrition, lubes, sealants) once opened

• Hygiene-sensitive goods (bib shorts, base layers, underwear) with removed hygienic liners

• Custom or personalized items
